Arizona Breast Cancer Non-profit Announces Launch of New Website
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Scottsdale, Ariz. - May 7, 2007 - The Arizona Institute for Breast Health (AIBH),
an Arizona breast cancer non-profit, just released a new version of their website
where supporters can now donate on-line. Knowing the importance of reaching
supporters when they wish to donate makes the ability to donate on-line an
important addition to the website.
According to Christine Lessard, Executive Director for AIBH, "Our Technology
Department has created a very secure and easy process to accept credit
cards on-line with 3 simple clicks. It also provides all the information
our donors need if they prefer mailing or faxing in your donation directly
to our office. Many of our supporters have been asking for this function,
so we are thrilled to now offer this ability." Since AIBH has supporters
nationwide, it allows anyone who wishes to donate the ability to do so at
their convenience, any time, day or night at www.AIBH.org.
AIBH provides a second opinion for treatment options to women who have been
diagnosed with breast cancer, completely free of charge. Physicians and
medical professionals volunteer their time for the Institute, which was
created to give all women the opportunity to receive the best possible
information regarding treatment options for breast cancer. "Founded by
medical professionals and supported entirely by donations, getting the
word out to the community is key to empowering women with knowledge when
dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis," states Lessard.
The website also provides resource information about breast cancer news,
risks, symptoms and the latest treatment options available. A search
function allows surfers to look for specific topics, which are then
displayed on an easy-to-find results page. It also includes a Photo
Gallery and a Video Gallery, which captures many great AIBH "Kodak Moments"
of fundraisers, donors, events and messages from the Board of Directors.
Since breast cancer does not discriminate, AIBH offers their services to all
women who have been diagnosed with this disease, so they have a place to go
for a second opinion for treatment options, for education about the disease
and for support through this most difficult time.
The Institute is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and can be
reached at 480-860-4200 or www.aibh.org.
