Motorcycle Ride throughout the Valley to Support Breast Cancer

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Scottsdale, Ariz. - March 9, 2007 -
Arizona Bike Week 2007, one of the largest motorcycle rallies in the US and sponsor of the women's only motorcycle Classy Lassie Ride, recently designated the Arizona Institute for Breast Health (AIBH) as the recipient of funds raised from this unique event.

Christine Bell and Carol Madden, organizers of the ride, describe the event as a one-of-kind motorcycle experience just for women with a twist. According to Bell, "All participants in this all-day ride are women in the Valley who have a passion for motorcycles and concern for breast cancer. We wanted a unique way to bring attention to the cause, but not just in October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month when other events are held. Breast Cancer touches people throughout the year. We hope to let all women know they have a place to go for support and assistance when diagnosed - AIBH."

"Ruby Cheeks" from KDKB radio will lead the charge of Classy Lassies as they begin their ride at Matt's Big Breakfast, where participants will receive a map listing all the stops throughout the ride, including a reservation for High Tea at the English Rose Tearoom in Carefree. According to Madden, "At every location, each rider will be given a gift and a "letter" puzzle piece. If all 5 pieces are collected and turned in at the final destination - Superstition Harley's booth at WestWorld - they will receive a goody bag of surprises!" It is a most unique way to bring attention and support to a very special cause.
