With Breast Cancer Awareness Month around the corner, I want to take this time to say hello and introduce myself to those of
you who I haven't had the pleasure of meeting.
I am co-founder of the Arizona Institute for Breast Health (AIBH) and have been honored to serve on the Medical Board with this
organization for the past 12 years. I have met many of you at an AIBH Weekly Conference, a fundraising event or through various
meetings and get-togethers over the years.
Our team of breast cancer specialists has been meeting week after week since 1999, donating time, treasures and talent to AIBH.
We meet with women (and men) to offer our opinion on treatment options based on their specific diagnosis and health history.
Being there when a patient is battling a breast cancer diagnosis, providing education, support and a free second opinion, is
what AIBH is all about. Because all services are completely
free of charge, it takes your precious donation dollars to keep AIBH going.
Even though the economy has affected all of us, many of our supporters have still stepped up to the plate and have chosen
AIBH as their charity of choice this year. Many of you may still be in the process of making that decision. I would like to
ask you to choose AIBH this year and to support our organization by becoming a sponsor of our yearly fundraising initiative,
The Pink Light District. Even sponsoring 1 Pink Honor Light in recognition of a loved one, a friend or co-worker can assist
us in reaching our yearly goal of turning the Marshall Way Bridge
pink this October!
The money raised through
The Pink Light District is used to fund program services and the costs associated with being
available when a woman calls in her time of need.
It is easy to sponsor a light. Just
your Pink Honor Light will glow throughout October in recognition of
your designated honoree and in support of AIBH and the breast cancer cause!
Best regards,
