Arizona Institute for Breast Health Forms the Pink Cap Society
April 14, 2009 EVLiving.com
Scottsdale, Ariz. - SCOTTSDALE - The Arizona Institute for Breast Health (AIBH), an Arizona breast cancer
non-profit, just announced the formation of the Pink Cap Society, a group of volunteers that work with their board of
directors in support of the organization and the breast cancer cause.
According to Christine Fenwick, Executive Director of AIBH, "The Marketing and Fundraising Board for the
Institute is always being asked by concerned women and men, how they can help spread the word about our
organization or volunteer when we are putting together a fundraiser. The Pink Cap Society was formed for
people who want to get involved with the organization, but may not have time to serve on the board."
Members of the Pink Cap Society, lovingly referred to as "Pink Caps," will help market and promote AIBH
and their services to the community through their own personal and business networks. They will also
assist by contributing to fundraising events or creating fundraisers on their own.
"We are only asking that Pink Caps have the desire to help spread the word about what AIBH offers and have the
ability to donate time, treasures or talent to the Society. Men, women and young adults are all encouraged to join," adds Lessard.
AIBH has put together an Inaugural Meeting and Social on Thursday, April 30th, at Farrelli's Cinema Supper Club,
14202 N. Scottsdale Road, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm, for all who are interested in becoming a Pink Cap and who want to
find out more about the organization. Members of the Society will receive a Pink Cap as a symbol of membership upon joining.
