Farrelli's Cinema Supper Club to host Hollywood Awards Gala for AIBH

February 10, 2009 by Editor of East Valley Living

Scottsdale, Ariz. - Farrelli's Cinema Supper Club, Arizona's only restaurant that shows movies, will be hosting a Hollywood Awards Gala, an evening of dinner and celebration as attendees watch the Academy Awards, to support those touched by breast cancer. A percentage of the proceeds from this fundraiser benefits the Arizona Institute for Breast Health (AIBH), a local non-profit organization that offers a free second opinion to women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Date: Sunday, February 22nd at 5:00 pm. Farrelli's is located at 14202 N. Scottsdale Road (Thunderbird and Scottsdale Road). The awards ceremony will be shown on Farrelli's large screens in HD while participants enjoy a Speciality Awards Menu and sip any cocktail of their choice.

According to Christine Fenwick, AIBH Executive Director, "We are thrilled that Farrelli's is sponsoring this unique fundraiser for us. Not only are they donating a percentage of the proceeds to AIBH, but they are helping to spread the word about our program to their entire customer base." Since AIBH offers their service to all women, completely free of charge, they just need women to know they are there for them, when faced with a breast cancer diagnosis. "Farrelli's has been a huge supporter of AIBH over the years and this is yet another example of their willingness to give back," says Lessard.

Wendy Farrelli, co-owner of Farrelli's, is very excited that she can create a wonderful fundraising event where people can watch the Academy Awards, while enjoying a variety of special entrees designed just for the evening. "Our customers are very excited at the opportunity to come to the restaurant to watch the awards, but enjoy knowing they are donating to a cause as well. We are encouraging guests to dress up and come as formal as they would like - it will add to the mood of the celebration!" Farrelli, who also owns Farrelli's Catering and Event Planing Inc., is having her team create new entree and dessert specials with the Oscars in mind.

The cost for the entire evening is $69.95 per person and includes an appetizer array, choice of salad and entree, and the speciality dessert. Reservations are now being taken. More information is available on the company's website www.farrellis.com/ and people can call 480-905-7200 to make reservations.
