March 28, 2007 - Scottsdale - One takes the high road and the other takes a different road, but both of the motorcycle rides Thursday raise money for a local breast cancer group.

Participants in Arizona Bike Week 2007 will have two distinct options for contributing to the Arizona Institute for Breast Health, a Scottsdale group that provides free second opinions for those diagnosed with breast cancer.

The Classy Lassie Ride, led by KDKB-FM radio personality Ruby Cheeks, includes stops at a day spa, a wine-and-chocolate lounge and the English Rose Tea Room in Carefree. Sign-up is from 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday at Matt's Big Breakfast, 801 N. First Street, Phoenix. Fee: $35.

The T-Bar Trail Ride will travel from one strip club to another in a 120-mile run that includes Baby Dolls, Sinn Show Club and Christie's, all in Phoenix.

If you don't know what "T-Bar" means, don't ask. Sign-up is 9-11 a.m. Thursday at WestWorld, 16601 N. Pima Road, Scottsdale. Fee: $30.

"We diagnose breast cancer every day and it doesn't discriminate. This is very light-hearted, but the disease touches everyone," said Christine Lessard, director of the breast health group. "We're supportive of anyone who comes into our program. The women in the (T-Bar) clubs should know about us, too."

Both rides end at WestWorld. The fees cover entry to Cyclefest, a T-shirt and a 9 p.m. concert by the Georgia Satellites.
